National Arts Council Silver Arts Programme

The inaugural Silver Arts programme, presented by the National Arts Council, is developed for seniors by fellow seniors, artists and community organisations. It is a platform for our silver-haired friends to surprise the public – and themselves – with their blooming artistic contributions, and to enjoy a myriad of inspired arts activities with their friends and families.

There will be performances ranging from ballet and Cantonese opera to an exhibition of art projects curated by artist Michael Tan and done in collaboration with artists such as Justin Lee, Tay Bee Aye and Daniel Wong.

Other exciting activities include a mass dance event by The Arts Fission Company and the launch of a publication of works by Ceriph and its 10×10 inter-generational community arts project. September 8 to 11 at The Plaza @ National Library Building. A full list of the events taking place can be found at http://www.nac.gov.sg/arts-you/for-everyone/senior-citizen/participating-in-the-arts.
