The Singapore Red Cross expects to raise some S$250,000 for local charities through its International Bazaar.
The event, held once every two years, was officiated by its patron, President Tony Tan Keng Yam.
From Arabic coffee to Turkish ice cream and authentic Brazilian fare, visitors were spoilt for choice with an international spread from over 80 stalls. There were also stalls selling everything from handmade jewellery to handicrafts.
The stalls were set up by diplomatic missions, local and international enterprises, as well as civic groups.
All proceeds will go to local humanitarian efforts, such as food aid, and transport for the elderly.
The bazaar, held at SCAPE on Sunday, has been taking place in Singapore since 1994.
