Volunteer coaches needed – for STep-up weekly coaching programme initiated by The ST School Pocket Money Fund for Primary 4 to 6 children. The volunteer coaches spend weekly 90-minute sessions to boost English abilities and current affairs. Materials will be provided.
Coaches required for AMK FSC and Pertapis Children’s Home:
Dates and time for Tuesday sessions at AMK FSC to be held at Block 109 AMK Ave 4 from 7.30pm to 9 pm.
Term 1 – 5 Feb, 19 Feb, 26 Feb, 5 Mar, 12 Mar (20 coaches)
Term 2 – 26 Mar, 2 Apr, 9 Apr, 16 Apr, 23 Apr, 30 Apr, 7 May, 14 May, 21 May (10 coaches)
Dates and time for Friday sessions at Pertapis Children’s Home to be held at 993B Kovan Rd (off Yio Chu Kang Rd) from 5.30pm to 7pm.
Term 1 Only – 25 Jan, 1 Feb, 15 Feb, 22 Feb, 1 Mar, 8 Mar
Coaches commitment: Ideally to be able to commit for at least a term to establish bonding and familiarity. It will be less disruptive for the learning progress of the children. If there are dates in between that they cannot be present, the child will be allocated to another coach.
