AWARE is looking for male volunteers of all ages and senior women to join our interactive drama on violence against women. Selected volunteers will attend a 40-hour Forum Theatre workshop in mid April where they will produce the play from scratch.
This play will be part of a two-year national campaign called We Can! End All Violence Against Women. From June 2013 – Dec 2014, the play will be taken to communities around Singapore.
Violence against women is a human rights issue, and therefore concerns men as much as women. And the perspectives of an older generation are valuable to shaping a violence-free society. If you are passionate about this issue, we want YOU to be part of this exciting project.
