Volunteers bring 100 low-income families to River Safari

About 70 volunteers drove some 100 low-income families to the River Safari on Sunday morning for a fun-filled day of bonding activities.

The event kick-started Project SunShine Charity Month, a flagship project by the PA Neighbourhood Committee Coordinating Council. The project aims to encourage neighbourhood committees to co-organise charity-related activities.

For some, such as Lucky Heights neighbourhood committee, it was their first time working on a charity programme with the Youth Chapter to benefit the needy in the community.

Gracing the event was Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office Lim Swee Say.
