Family Monopoly Challenge raises donations for needy

Some families played Monopoly on Sunday and in the process raised S$31,800 in donations for needy families.

The Family Monopoly Challenge was held at Causeway Point, and among those taking part in the event was Social and Family Development Minister Chan Chun Sing.

The event coincides with the 20th International Year of the Family.

Family Monopoly Challenge

From Sunday till June 29, shoppers can play the game at selected Frasers Centrepoint Malls.

A charity round of the challenge was held on Sunday, and the money raised from the game will be disbursed to needy families by the Community Chest.
