The bulls were charging down the Central Business District on Friday evening (Nov 14) – as part of the Singapore Exchange annual Bull Charge Charity Run, flagged off by Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Lawrence Wong.
A total of 6,000 participants from the finance industry and Singapore Exchange-listed companies helped to raise some S$2.6 million for four charities helping underprivileged children, youth and the elderly at the event.
The beneficiaries include the Asian Women’s Welfare Association, the Autism Association of Singapore, Fei Yue Community Services and Shared Services for Charities.
The Bull Charge is now in its 11th year. Since 2004, it has raised about S$24 million for over 50 different charities.
