Blossom World Society (BWS) is a charitable organisation which focuses on active volunteerism and service learning. Through these means, it helps instil moral values and a sense of gratitude in young people. Its goal is to inspire them to be a more gracious generation that contributes positively to society.
Flag Day is a fundraising event where the organisation can receive direct funding from the public. It is labour intensive and they need all the support from you. This year, the fund raising event falls during the December School holiday period and is a day after Christmas Day. In the spirit of giving and spreading of kindness for a charitable cause, the organisation sincerely looks forward to your support.
Funds raised will help to continue in running their programmes, not only will it help to inspire youths but also to the community. All amounts donated will be used for BWS youth development and its programmes. Please feel free visit www.blossomworld.sg for more information about BWS.
The Flag Day is on Saturday, 26 December 2015.
Volunteers can choose any one of three timeslots to volunteer during our Flag Day.
Timeslot 1 : 9.00 am to 1.00 pm
Timeslot 2 : 1.00 pm to 6.00 pm
Timeslot 3 : 9.00 am to 6.00 pm
The volunteers are to report directly to BWS’s representative at any one of the listed locations namely, Toa Payoh, Ang Mo Kio, Tampines, Jurong East, Bishan, Serangoon, Orchard, Woodlands, Clementi and Bedok MRT station.
Note: Schools and organisations are welcome to participate as a group. Children under 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Students will receive 4 or 8 hours of community service (CIP Hours) certificate／volunteer certificate.
*2 Extra CIP hours for those who sign up for full day.
