W!LD RICE welcomes 2017 with its musical extravaganza of the year! Winner of 11 Tony Awards and one of Broadway’s biggest hits, W!LD RICE’s La Cage Aux Folles was staged in 2012 to standing ovations and was awarded the Straits Times Readers’ Choice Award for ‘Production of the Year’.
This new production is directed by Glen Goei and features a star-studded company led by Ivan Heng. With a glorious score featuring songs like I Am What I Am and The Best of Times, La Cage Aux Folles is a funny and heartwarming musical about one family’s struggle to stay together, stay fabulous and, above all else, stay true to themselves!
FUN and FRIENDLY volunteers are welcome to help with Front-of-House duties from 19 Apr – 1 May 2017 at the Victoria Theatre.
FOH duties include:
– Welcoming guests at the theatre foyer
– Selling programmes and merchandise
– Be a Friend of WILD RICE registration
– Assist in FOH administration
You will receive:
– TWO (02) complimentary tickets to volunteers who completed SIX (06) shows;
OR
– ONE (01) complimentary ticket to volunteers who completed FOUR (04) shows
You may only redeem your tickets after completion of the set of roster. Community Involvement Programme (CIP) hours would also be given upon request.
Time schedule for reporting of FOH duties:
For evening performances: Tues to Sat, 6:00pm – 10.30pm
For matinee performances: Thurs, Sat & Sun, 1:00pm – 5.30pm
There are no shows on Mondays and Sundays evening.
Dress Code: SMART CASUAL. Please refrain from slippers, shorts or school uniform.
