Volunteers needed for Pink Ribbon Walk 2017

Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) is bringing the annual Pink Ribbon Walk – which aims to raise awareness on breast cancer and show support to those whose lives are affected by this condition, back this October. In commemoration of BCF’s 20th anniversary, this year’s Pink Ribbon Walk will feature the following new components:

A new 5km Run category
A Pink Ribbon Parade with a spectacular display of pink hummingbirds, stilt walkers and live performances by BCF survivors, volunteers and corporate partners
The display of the BCF 20th Anniversary Commemorative Exhibition where visitors can be inspired by survivors’ stories of their breast cancer journey, learn more about BCF’s 20-year history, and see up-close memorabilia collected over the past 20 years

Volunteers are welcome to help out in this event on the following days.

Event Day:
Date: 7th Oct, Sat
Location: Event Square@ Waterfront Promenade
Time: 3pm – 7pm
Role: Event Assistants (Duties include: Road Marshalls, Ushers, Carnival Assistants, Runners etc.)

Race Pack Collection:
Date: 23rd and 24th Sep
Location: Plaza Singapura
Time: 11am – 8pm (4 hours/ full day shift)
