This year, the President’s Challenge (PC) will be expanded beyond charity fundraising to incorporate a Volunteer Drive, which will take place in the months of August and September 2012. The President’s Challenge 2012 Volunteer Drive (PCVD) is a joint effort by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS), and the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC), in collaboration with non-profit organisations to promote the spirit of volunteerism.

Between 1st August to end September, be involved in a series of activities to get you started on your volunteering journey, or if, you are already volunteering, this is the time to spread the word of volunteerism within the community.

How you may take part:

Volunteerism Xperience
(VX, 1 September)

The highlight of the Volunteer Drive!

On 1 September, members of the public can take the opportunity to visit the nonprofit organisations to learn more about what they do, or volunteer at an event!
