To extend its social mission of being a world class retailer with a heart, NTUC FairPrice set up the FairPrice Foundation in 2008 to provide a better life for the community. As a registered charity, FairPrice Foundation focuses its philanthropic efforts on three strategic thrusts – helping the poor and needy, supporting nation and community bonding, and advancing workers’ welfare.
In celebration of FairPrice Foundation’s 5th anniversary, the Foundation has launched a campaign to rally young Singaporeans to do more good deeds for those around them.
The Do Good Initiative aims to encourage youths to perform simple acts of good deeds, and to share the joy of giving with their friends and family. By taking the initial steps towards doing good, the Foundation hopes that they can be the catalysts to friends, family members and the broader community to do the same.
