The popular Free Cone Day is back. This year, not only do you get a free cone if you rock up to one of the 4 participating scoop shops, you will also get to do your bit for charity.
On April 8, ice cream fans can get a free scoop of ice cream at VivoCity, Dempsey Hill and Great World City outlets from 12pm to 8pm, and Ben & Jerry’s @ Zoo Entrance from 12pm to 6pm, following the zoo’s operating hours.
While you are there, you can contribute your donations. Funds raised will go to The Children’s Charities Association of Singapore (CCA), helping the organisation fund programmes that will educate, train and assist the physically, mentally and socially-disadvantaged children in Singapore to become independent and useful citizens.
This year is also the first time that Ben & Jerry’s is bringing in Free Cone Day on Wheels to visit the six member charities under CCA.
