Mums with special-needs children celebrate at Underwater World Singapore

To celebrate the unconditional love of mothers with special-needs children, Underwater World Singapore (UWS) today invited 40 children from the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (formerly known as Spastic Children’s Association) for an early Mother’s Day celebration.

On Friday, it will be the turn for 20 children from the Down Syndrome Association to head down to UWS with their mothers.

“Underwater World Singapore is dedicating this Month of Pink to all mothers in recognition of the immeasurable contributions they have made for their children. In particular, we are paying tribute to mums with special needs children as they truly deserve the admiration and praise not only on this day but everyday,” said Ms Grace Ng, Deputy Director (Sales & Marketing) at UWS.

The event today saw mothers and kids come dressed in pink, matching this year’s pink theme, to commemorate the joyous occasion.

Mothers were presented with a “Happy Mothers’ Day” banner by friendly UWS divers who were surrounded by exotic ocean dwellers.

For the month of May, mothers dressed in pink get to enjoy free admission to UWS with every 3 paying guests, among other Mother’s Day promotions.
