Over S$200,000 was raised for the less-fortunate by the aviation community on Saturday morning. The funds were raised in the 3rd Aviation run, which was flagged off at the Changi Exhibition Centre.
The run is part of Aviation Community Cares, spearheaded by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore — which brings members together to contribute to society. This includes raising funds to support over 80 charities.
During the event, over 2,000 people formed a human airplane — setting the record for the “Largest Human Formation of an Airplane” in the Singapore Book of Records.
