‘NTUC FairPrice Walk for Rice @ South East’ is a collaboration between NTUC FairPrice Co-operative Limited and South East CDC. It seeks to inculcate ‘giving spirit’ among the residents by encouraging them to walk for a good cause. For every 100m a resident walked, NTUC FairPrice will donate 1 bowl of rice to our needy families residing in our District.
Last year, ‘NTUC FairPrice – Walk for Rice @ South East’ successfully raised 500,000 bowls of rice for 7,000 low income families. And by 30 September this year, we hope to clock 50,000km to raise rice to benefit 7,000 low income families once again!
