SingaporeSports.sg is working with Red Sports to build a team of volunteer sports reporters and photojournalists to cover the 28th SEA Games in Singapore in 2015.
As part of this joint programme volunteers will be trained by Mr Leslie Tan, founder of popular local sports website Red Sports, on the key skills to become a good sports journalist – from writing to shooting sports.
Signing up for this programme is a wonderful opportunity to cover ‘live’ events, meet new people, and to contribute to the growing local sports industry.
The first batch of volunteers can expect to undergo their training programme from 27 May 2013 – 19 August 2013, and will be required to write 2 sports stories a week.
So wait no more if you have a passion for sports, have a keen interest in writing or photography, and would like to try your hand at sports journalism.
