I Wish to Run 2013

I Wish to Run 2013

I Wish to Run 2013 is a charity static biathlon challenge + fun carnival happening on the 18th of May, 2013. This event aims to raise funds to help fulfill the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions under the wing of Make-A-Wish Foundation® (Singapore).

I Wish to Run started in 2012 as an ultra-marathon where 2 third-year medical students from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (Tang Jun Han and Thiaghu Chandra) attempted to run 123km across the country under 24 hours, in an effort to raise funds for the children at the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. In line with their spirit of endurance and challenging one’s limits, this year’s I Wish to Run is a competitive run-and-ride biathalon that will keep going for a total of 12 hours! This year, we aim to clock a total distance of 3000 km from both competitive and non-competitive runners and riders.

We are looking for 60 teams of 5 people to run-and-ride on our treadmills and static cycling machines. The team that accumulates the longest distance over an hour of running and riding will be crowned the winner. If you wish to challenge your limits, bond with your friends and teammates, or just play a part in helping the kids at Make-A-Wish, come down and join us on the 18th of May at the NUS UTown Town Green for an exciting and unique run-and-ride experience.

The registration fee is only $20 per person ($100 per team), and includes an iWTR 2013 event T-shirt and a goodie bag.

Take part in our challenge or come and join in the carnival at NUS University Town! Sign up now at http://cl.ly/NtMo before all 60 places are filled!
