Volunteers will assist at the gala itself on Friday, October 9. These volunteers must be available for:
1. Interview to be scheduled upon receiving your application for week of August 17 at Tanglin International Centre.
2. First mandatory training via Google Hangout*
Monday August 24: Table Concierge Team Training from 7-8:30pm
Monday August 31: Raffle Team training from 7-8:30pm
Wednesday August 26: Auction Team training from 7-8:30pm
Thursday August 27: Registration Team from 7-8:30pm
3. Second mandatory training
Monday September 14: Table Concierge Team Training at our offices from 7-8:30pm
Tuesday September 15: Raffle Team training at our offices from 7-8:30pm
Wednesday September 16: Auction Team training at our offices from 7-8:30pm
Thursday September 17: Registration Team at our offices from 7-8:30pm
4. Third mandatory training: for Table Concierges and Auction teams only
Week of September 28 (date TBD): Venue walk through/demonstration from 7-8:30pm at Capella Sentosa. Pick up and drop off from City Hall MRT and Harbourfront MRT will be provided at 6:15pm and 8:30pm respectively.
5. At the Gala itself: Friday October 9 at Capella Sentosa (all teams)

ABOUT THE SNOW GALA
Each year the SNOW (Say No to the Oppression of Women) Gala brings together socially engaged business executives, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists for an unforgettable evening of glamour, gastronomy and goodwill in support of women and girls’ empowerment in Singapore and the region.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to mix among inspirational people from different walks of life across Singapore and Asia, while meeting like-minded professionals. The SNOW gala benefit has raised over $2 million to date to support the critical work of Singapore Committee for UN Women in stopping oppression and violence towards women at home and abroad.
Last year’s Gala proceeds will continue to support 10,000 women in the Karenni refugee camps along the Thailand-Myanmar border through the UN Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women and International Rescue Committee. The survivors living in the Ban Mai Nai Soi and Ban Mae Surin refugee camps along the Thailand-Myanmar border will continue to gain access to high quality care from community- based health centres, allowing them to heal quickly and safely.
