Volunteers are needed across various schools within the Jurong GRC to befriend youths.
They would need to engage the youths in activities like fun ice breaking games and discuss about positive life values through these activities.
There would be a curriculum for the mentors to fall back on and refer to.
Mentors who are able to commit for 1 year would also be given a chance undergo a mentoring course fully borne by Loving Heart Multi-Service Centre.
If you are:
18 years old and above
Positive, Outgoing, Cheerful
Creative, Dedicated and Patient
Does not have problems speaking up in groups ( 20 students a session )
Able to be a team player
You are welcome to join!
Commitment period : Once weekly/Fortnightly
Tentative Dates: From End Feb 2018- Sept 2018 [Mentoring sessions will not be held during School Holidays]
Duration: 1-1.5 hours per session
