Prudential Singapore Everest Expedition 2013

Prudential Singapore Everest Expedition 2013

Prudential Singapore, one of Singapore’s leading life insurance companies is the title sponsor for adventurer Khoo Swee Chiow’s upcoming expedition to the peaks of Mount Everest and Mount Kanchenjunga, named the Prudential Singapore Everest Expedition 2013. The expedition, which starts on 11 April 2013, will be the first time that both the highest and the third-highest peaks in the world are successively climbed.

A fundraising activity will be held in conjunction with the expedition to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Foundation. Staff and members of Prudential’s agency force can pledge $10 for every 3000 metres covered in Khoo’s climb up Mount Everest. If all goes well and Khoo reaches the summit, each staff member who pledges to donate will make a total contribution of $30 each. The company will then match the total amount raised and the total proceeds will be channeled towards achieving Make-A-Wish foundation’s goal of granting a wish to every medically eligible child in Singapore.

Mr Khoo is expected to return from his expedition in June. Throughout his journey, he will be posting regular updates through his website: www.daretodream.com.sg/prudential-singapore-everest-expedition.
