Volunteer with YOU CAN

Trampolene Limited is looking for volunteers to interact and have fun with young adults with special needs.

There are currently 2 volunteering options:

1. YOU CAN – Tuesday
Play games, socialise, and impart useful social skills to young adults with special needs.
Volunteers would be given opportunity to plan and organize sessions and lessons for the participants.
Every Tuesday, 3:30pm – 5:20pm, Zoom
No experience needed, just an open heart and mind to embrace neurodiverse individuals

2. YOU CAN – Weekend
Organise outings, workshops, and activities for young adults with special needs.
Volunteers would carry out events and befriend participants through interacting with them.
Every Saturday / Sunday, Flexi timing, Zoom / Physical (groups of 5)
No experience needed, 18 y/o and above.

Sweat for A Cause

Sweat for A Cause is an online fitness campaign to get active and raise money for the beneficiaries at CampusImpact. 100% of funds received will go to ensuring the continuity of CampusImpact. Through this campaign, participants get to exercise not only to get fit or for their health, but for the younger generations of Singapore. The campaign include exercises and activities to foster a healthy lifestyle and also allows the participants to try something new.

Organised by CampusImpact, the organisation runs many programmes that provide holistic care to youth that are undergoing a transitional phase in their lives and are beginning to define who they are. CampusImpact was founded to address the needs of youths beginning to define who they are as they go through transitional phases in their lives.

About the Beneficiaries
Parents: CampusImpact helps parents resolve parent-child issues through counselling services. Additionally, they receive community support through a networking group which aims to impart effective parenting skills & knowledge.
Children: Youths from primary & secondary schools receive academic assistance, counselling & mentorship sessions. CampusImpact is where they pick up important life skills, build healthy relationships and seek support in tumultuous times.
Families: Families facing various parent-child challenges are supported & benefitted by CampusImpact’s face-to-face counselling services. Moreover, family-bonding programmes provide them the opportunity to practise positive communication within the family through activities.

MakanMrkt – Looking for Volunteers

MakanMrkt is a social initiative aiming to support hawkers whose business may have taken a hit during this period by creating and broadcasting digital marketing content, especially for older generation hawkers who may not be digitally adept.

The team is looking for individuals who are keen in helping and supporting this cause, and will be scheduling hawker visits and filming around Singapore – no specific schedules, as many as possible!

ALittleDeepavali Volunteering Opportunity

ALittleDeepavali is an initiative run by ALittleChange, a youth-run non-profit organisation that aspires to empower a community of youths to enact positive change in the communuty.

The organisation is currently organising a care package event around the French Road neighbourhood (next to Lavender MRT).

The team will be visiting residents of 1 room rental flats around the area to hand them some presents and engage them in friendly conversations to spread the festive cheer this Deepavali season.

Date: 7th November 2020
Time: 1215 – 1630
Venue: French Road Blk 7, 8 & 811
Meet-up Location: Lavender MRT

This event will consist of:
– Distributing bags of rice, and goodie bags filled with necessities and Deepavali-themed snacks
– Connecting with other like-minded individuals and building rapport with our community partners.
